During the development of my thesis proposal, I thought that furniture could have applied the same principals of fashion. Basically, it is the same form but with various "skins" much like the idea behind how jeans change with every season and/or designers.

Much to my surprise, after sending Philippe Starck my resume and thesis proposal, I found out that he released a new chair named the "Mademoiselle Chair." I claim nothing but I do find it to be an interesting coinsidence.

In his collection, various designers created different "skin" iterations. Designers like Missoni, Dolce + Gabana, Burberry + more.
