A project for a sustainable permaculture living system, designed by SCI-Arc student Mishou Sanchez, is being promoted by the American-Sudanese Partnership to assist with refugee hospital in Darfur, Sudan.

The project, designed in Nadar Khaili's Cal-Earth Studio, employs a tiered, multi-level radial garden to store water within a "living system."
