TAMPA CRA SIGNAL BOX MURAL, WEST TAMPA
PROJECT DETAILS
Location: West Tampa, Florida
Project Type: Public Art
Medium: Exterior Mural
Scope: Mural Design
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This site-specific design was created for the Tampa Community Redevelopment Agency’s signal-box art initiative. Interpreting the theme “Women & Architecture,” Mishou Sánchez stages a procession of multi-generational women in profile against West Tampa’s historic brick industrial streetscape. The composition’s wide, cinematic format and rhythmic repetition read clearly at street speed while rewarding close sidewalk viewing.
Program Context
